Foster City is updating its Climate Action Plan (CAP) and seeks community input and participation in its process and development. The CAP is Foster City’s plan to reduce its contribution to climate change while addressing the current and future impacts climate change has on Foster City. The current Climate Action Plan (CAP) was adopted by City Council in 2016 but needs updating to reflect City and State legislation, priorities, and policies related to environmental sustainability and greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction.
